Connor has a gift for asking questions that get to your core, and help you to recognize and uncover what it is that you really need. He pushes you and holds you accountable to make the positive changes, and decisions that need to be made to benefit your life. Through Connor’s mentorship and guidance, I have much more direction, changed careers (for the better), I found clarity in what I want in a relationship and I feel greater balance in all aspects of my life.
Thank you man, I really appreciated watching the playback of last week’s session, I especially enjoyed the variation on the Wim Hof breathwork, both the inbreath and then experimenting with the outbreath.
You have supported my existing breathwork habit! I’m sitting with waves of fear and calm moving through me, I’ve been working at home but am now about to do some frontline work in the community. Thank you for this offering at this time, it’s very generous of you. I’ll look to sign up to your alliance group this week.PS I’ve enjoyed your mantalks podcast for the last year or so. Keep giving your gift, it’s inspiring.
The Alliance has reconnected me to men in a way that I never really had. It has allowed me to see what a man to man relationship can be without all the booze and football. I’ve learned how to talk to other men in about the problems I face and learned that I’m not alone in this place to figure it all out in solitude. My shoulders can only bare so much weight, so with help and community I am capable of the things I desire. My life, mindset, and attitude has changed in a way I always wanted but never knew how. It has helped me see my potential, and keep me on track to achieve my goals.

Connor guided me through a process to accept, rediscover and love myself. In many ways, it felt like the initiation process into manhood that I never properly went through. I use the term “guided” because I never felt forced to think, act or do something in a specific way. Rather, I was confronted with possibilities and Connor left space for my brain and heart to do the rest.
It is not easy work and that’s exactly the point. I am writing this while I’m still on this journey and the tools and guidance that Connor provided me with are helping me grow myself as a man in ways I didn’t know were possible before we started.

This group has been a paradigm shifting experience for me. It’s my first time delving into men’s work in a group setting like this, and I am not surprised, but amazed by how moving and insightful it has been to work with Connor and the other men in the group.
The structure is stable enough to keep us on track yet fluid enough to allow whatever needs to come up for each man to come up. Connor has a gift for cutting to the core of what needs to be brought into the light and explored at any given moment, and it’s been a privilege to work with him and witness his work with each man in the group.
Everyone showed up fully and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to spend such meaningful time with all of them. Excited for the opportunity to jump in again – hopefully in person one of these days.

I don't know where I would be today without this podcast. I stumbled upon it during a dark time and listening to this from the first episode and implementing what fit in my life, helped and guided me along my own inner journey. These are the real conversations that us men need to hear. And women, but men in particular. It's not about football or drinking but coming together as a community to be accountable as husbands, fathers, dons and better men that the world so desperately needs.

I find Connors insight extremely topical and relevant to my life. I might be bold in saying this but I think he is the male Oprah
I've only started digging into Connor's words and work, but I am immediately drawn to his encouraging and sobering words of accountability and empowerment. I'm grateful to hear someone talking about the powers and responsibilities of manhood.

This is by far one of my favorite podcasts. First and foremost, Conor does such a great job as a facilitator of each individual podcast. The lineup of guests are incredible but more importantly he does an amazing job of asking questions that gets the most out of the guests expertise, while not interrupting or sharing unnecessary amounts of information in his own life. Too many hosts on other podcasts in this realm, don't truly give their host the spotlight while getting the important questions asked to pull the most out of the guest. As a man looking for content geared towards everyone, but primarily men, he has created such an amazing forum to improve the lives of men. He does an excellent job of bringing on various guests with an appropriate range of topics. After each podcast I am left to critically think through the various topics and work to apply it in my own life so I can show up as the best version of myself.

Having hit a crossroads in my personal life and new beginning with the end of my marriage, listening to Connor has given me hope, insight, tools and a path to seek a better version of myself. His insight and manner and perspective have lifted me, sobered me, opened my eyes and given me hope for what it means to be a quality human and a man at the same. Thank you Connor.

I don't actively leave reviews, but it feels like an act of service to let others know how excellent the content is in this podcast. Connor has consistently impressed me. His humility, sincerity and levity allow his guests to shine and make his own astute commentary trustable and accessible. I'm grateful too for the “mini” episodes, which have often been welcome doses of presence / "food for thought” on busy days. Go on and listen. You'll be better for it.

Connor does an amazing job with this podcast… specifically because he has done the work and is speaking from a healthy, integrated approach to masculinity. Highly recommended!
This dose of reality challenges the status quo of what a man thinks they should do, verse the societal force telling them to do something else. If you're at a point in your life where you feel stuck, or are searching for more - Connor and his expertise/research will truly help you on your journey in a very profound way if you're willing to go deep.

I started listening to Connor post divorce and entering the dating world. Receiving a male perspective has been bang on in my experiences - everything from what I thought my partner was going through to yes, that is exactly what I needed in my marriage. It's fabulous to know that some men are diving deep and I pass this on to those that are interested!

I would say the alliance has provided me with a safe and intentional space to be vulnerable, to test out what it means to be self led, resilient, and courageous, to call forward my learnings, and to discuss my challenges.
This support network to sound our what I'm feeling is valuable, and the reflections of other men's honest and authentic journeys is constantly inspiring. Not to mention the values of the live calls.

I'm new here but as I've become more self aware in recent years I have been challenged to create focus and consistency in practice to make meaningful change. This forum for me is a place to learn and serves as a daily reminder to do the things that make a difference.

The alliance is my place for contacting with the divine masculine with everyday dudes. What it's done for me is be an aide to my need for present & healthy men in my life, which has helped me be more centered, attuned and focused.

The Alliance has introduced me to myself. I have met other men with similar challenges and have grown from both sharing my story and hearing theirs. I am pushed to be uncomfortable and tear down walls that I have had in place all my life, most I didn't even know where there. If you have known me, then you see and feel a difference in who and what I am.

The Alliance has been a much-needed sounding board for me. I have things I'm working through that I haven't always felt I can talk through with some of the men in my friend circles at home. I've been able to connect with a lot of supportive men here who have both held space for me as I have started working through my issues, and called me forward when I was unconsciously being an ass.
The resources you have brought in have been awesome so far. I have been impacted by the way you use sentence stems during our weekly calls to help the men (myself included) reach greater realization/awareness of the work we need to do. It's been a blessing to see other men do their work, as much of it has greatly resonated with me. It's nice to have this kind of tribe and space.

The Alliance allows me to broaden my connection with other self led, curious men, that are able to drop ego and share a safe space for each other to grow in mind, body and spirit. There's so much I could say - having other great men in ones life is necessary and makes the world a better place for all. A real issue we face in this era is having been fed falsities about what it means to be a strong and successful man. The alliance is one way of correcting course.

It's just priceless. The Alliance has given me the knowledge, strength and connection with my inner power to really go for what I really want, know who I really am. Nothing is as valuable as that, and won't ever dare to leave the group. It's the most nurturing and edifying one I have been in.

I would highly recommend the Alliance to any man. It's been a phenomenal space for me to build connections and friendships with other men, support others and get support. I've learned to start sitting with my emotions, practice breathwork, and face my mother/father wounds.

The Alliance is my home to defining my purpose. It allows me to look into my shadows and expose to other men the things that are holding me back to leading with a purposeful life. It's a community of brotherhood that hold a strong bond of commitment and responsibility. It's the space I see I can turn my weakness into my strengths by the help of the amazing man in this group that will always be there to lift you up when you need them most because this is a journey we can't do it alone.

The simplest way I can explain it is support from other like minded men who want to be better in their life.

It has given me accountability to others in addition to myself. It has allowed me to center myself through the breath work. In addition, the focus on the shadow really resonates with me.

The Alliance has given me a safe place to express myself, and access to the tools and frameworks to understand and work on myself.

It's funny, 8 weeks is a short time in reality, but I look back and it seems like an eternity. I was lost, for 48 years, drifting through life in a shameful mindset. To the core, I thought I was wrong, all my natural instincts, the urges, I was the only one that couldn't deal with them, I was the only one that had them. I learned the saboteur, that protective scared abused teenager was driving everything. Grown-up Jeff had taken a back seat.
Through this course and a session with Trevor Bird, I am able to communicate with parts of me I was unable to recognize before. When something comes up in my life, I am not as triggered and can handle the situation in the present tense. Even my wife has noticed a big difference in just the 8 weeks of work, I am looking forward to putting in more work and getting rid of the coping mechanisms that no longer serve me. Thank you so much.
Connor is a special teacher. He created a space where I was comfortable revealing. His support, as well as the support from the other men in the program, gave me the courage to delve into the roots of my pain. I got lessons on how to use that pain as a source of power, as well as how to release pain that no longer serves me.
Through this work I’ve gained knowledge and awareness that continues to impact my relationships…with my wife, with my father, and with myself. Going forward, I plan to use these insights to fully go after my purpose in life…and to hopefully have a positive impact on the lives of those around me.
